September has arrived, and a new term is beginning at Paintlum. This month, 6 different live classes are opening simultaneously — from watercolor to drawing, gouache to oil pastels, from beginner to advanced. Each course is 6 weeks long, held once a week in the evening, starting at 8 PM and lasting 2 hours.
All classes are recorded — you can watch them later even if you can't attend live. After each class, Şirvan AHÇIOĞLU evaluates student work and provides personalized feedback. Weekly homework assignments are also available for those who want them — these are also reviewed.

Watercolor from Scratch: 6-Week Beginner Course

Designed for those who have never touched watercolor before. A systematic journey from materials to basic techniques, from the first flower study to simple landscapes. Step by step, with the beginner curriculum developed by Şirvan Ahçıoğlu over the years.
Watercolor Level 2: Landscape Studies

For those who have completed the level or have external experience. Composition, atmosphere, and depth — ideal for those who want to take watercolor to the next level in landscape studies.
Color Therapy: Advanced Watercolor Group

Gouache Training: Beginner Level

Gouache is similar to watercolor but is opaque and concealing — a different language, a different form of expression. For those who want to learn the basics of gouache under the guidance of Şirvan Ahçıoğlu.
Basic Drawing Training: Beginner Course

This course, offered only once a year, covers the fundamentals of drawing — form, proportion, shadow, and perspective. It's the starting point for a journey that continues with dry pastels in Level 2. If you miss it, you may have to wait another year.
Progress in Oil Pastel: Level 2

Advanced studies for students who know the basics of oil pastel. More complex compositions, richer use of color, and a freer language of expression.

If you have a basic understanding of watercolor:
Watercolor Level 2: Landscape Studies is perfect for you. We accept students who have completed Level 1 or have gained experience from outside.
If you are ready to progress in oil pastels:
Deepen your composition and color studies with Oil Pastel Advanced: Level 2.
For advanced watercolors:
The Color Therapy group is designed for advanced students — however, it is currently full. You can be added to the waiting list.
